Grasp It is a portable, modular augmented reality kit, designed by Augmented Haptics to help STEM students learn mechanical engineering concepts more intuitively.
A few months ago, I was contacted by the team at Augmented Haptics to create a web animation that could illustrate the various features of the kit.
The animation was planned in different stages that had to appear at different moments while scrolling the page, but always following one continuous movement and camera angle.
The rigging and animation was executed in SideFX Houdini, while the shading and rendering was done in OTOY Octane.
